Earth Tech Wins USD $65 Million Task Order to Rebuild Iraqi Army Base
Earth Tech Inc., a leading global provider of engineering, construction, water management, environmental and transportation services, has been awarded a USD $65 million task order to rebuild a formerly abandoned Iraqi military base.

The work is part of the first wave of a major new U.S. government effort toward the reconstruction of Iraq and is expected to have a positive impact on national security for the Iraqi people. Upon reconstruction, the base will be used by the new Iraqi Army.

The task order, the largest issued to date under the USD $4 billion Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE) WERC contract, calls for the refurbishment of existing buildings and infrastructure on the base and the construction of new facilities. Earth Tech, which will lead a team including Fluor Corporation, USA Environmental and CSC's DynCorp organization, will also oversee the re-establishment of water supply, wastewater treatment and power services at the base.
